update

It's been a while! I definitely haven't given up on my goals in the time since I last wrote. I'm still buying local whenever I can, supporting local businesses, and cutting way back on meat. The one thing I have stopped doing is composting. I moved into a new apartment complex that doesn't have a compost bin, so it makes it much harder. Anyway, I am absolutely in love with these local tomatoes I got at the Bellingham Farmers Market today! There is nothing better than fresh, local, market tomatoes. I am going to be seriously lost once the season ends. My boyfriend has also started working at Breadfarm, an amazing scratch bakery in Edison, WA! So now we have a constant influx of fresh baked bread in my house. Eating quality, local food is really great. I don't think I could ever go back.
